PREPARE/ENRICH APPOINTMENT

There are many ways to prepare for your appointments in order to get the most out of your time and feel fully engaged in the process! Below are just a few ideas.

Mindfullness

Living in the moment has many benefits. Prior to any sort of important discussion or meeting, taking part in a mindfulness exercise can assist in being present, reducing anxiety and leaving the stress and worry of daily life behind.

Here are two examples of 3 minute mindfulness exercises. Plan to do these no more than 5 or 10 minutes before your appointment. For longer lasting results, meditate daily!

Make sure you and your partner have discussed expectations for the appointments and are invested in putting time and energy into your relationship's success!

Hydration 

Make sure to come to your session hydrated. Being dehydrated can impact your ability to be testable.

Topics

Prior to the session think of at least 2 or 3 items you would like to focus on during our session. Some ideas might include chronic physical or emotional pain, financial or relationship “blocks”, addictions, phobias, etc.
